Scribal Workshop now offers historic lead-tin (70% lead, 30% tin) styli for manuscript and calligraphy work.
Each stylus is hand cast into a soapstone mold and hammered to create a tip on the stylus as well as soften the metal. All of this is done based on Cennino de Cennini inscructions from the 15th century.
